Mighty Wombats did it again
Feb 17, 2010, 1:08 amEven though the Mighty Wombats
had to go through a extensive re-building process in the summer of
2009, they were able to win the Fall Classic 2009 for a 4th
time.
The team placed 2. in the
round-robbin and played the semi-final against a very strong
opponent. The game went into Overtime and PK's, where the Mighty
Wombats dominated. The Wombats keeper Meredith Brislin kept
her cool saving 2 PK's and earning the "Fall Classic'09 MVP-Award"
from her team.
