FC Holzbein won the Over 30 Cup

FC Holzbein (Women's Over-30) won the Over-30 Cup for the second year in a row.

Deadhorse finishes in 2.Place at the Dog Days 2010

Deadhorse finished in 2.Place at the Dog Days 2010 in Ruidoso, NM. The team had a great start winning both games on Saturday against “Havoc” and “Ritmo”. On Saturday they won their Semi-Final against “Anything is fine with me” and met “Diamonds” from Las Cruces in the Final just like in 2009.

The team played well in their final game. The score was tied 2-2 until about 1 min before the end when the “Diamonds” scored for the final score of 2-3.

Deadhorse once again played a great tournament and will be back next year to get the title.

Congratulations, Ladies!!!!

Over 30 Cup 2010

FC Holzbein will participate in the Mike Edwards Over30 Cup on 21. August & 22.August 2010 at the complex.

Schedule will follow soon!

We will finish the summer Over30 season with a dinner on 28.August 2010.

Eclipse will start Friday 06/04/2010 - Men Over 30

FC Holzbein will start Thursday 06/10/2010 - Women Over 30

Vipers will start Sunday 06/06/10 - 5-a-side

The Over30 Thrusday night league starts this Thursday at 7.00 PM for the Eclipse O30 as well as FC Holzbein (Women O30).

The schedule is uploaded to the webpage.

The VfB Sandia will be represented by 2 teams in the inaugural Over30 Spring season. The Men are playing on the Eclipse O30 and the Women are playing on FC Holzbein.

The season will start on 04/01/2010; all games are played at 7.00 pm at the complex. Please check back for schedule and updates!

Our Coach, Leroy Garcia, just completed the requirements and passed the exam for his USSF "C" coaching license. Congratulations Leroy on this great accomplishment! We're gonna' expect more from you now!

The 2010 Spring season starts on 07.March 2010 for all teams playing on Sundays. We will enter the new Over30 Division with our Womens Over30 team starting in April 2010.
